      Sharp Aquos, but I suggest looking for it on sale. Sony too. Plasma’s and LCD’s have their pro’s and con’s. Plasma has rich colours and amazing contrast ratios, however their lamp lives aren’t nearly as long as LCD’s. Response times are slower on plasma than LCD’s also. And with the new technologies coming out everyday LCD’s seem to be overcoming their con’s faster then plasma’s are. So I’d say your best bet is a LCD.

      Sony Bravia is nice but expensive. Samsung makes nice and pretty inexpensive LCDs.

      sharp acquos 42″ 1080p $1799 at best buy
      sony bravia 40″ 1080p $2100 at circuit city with free ps3 or sony blu ray system and installation
